To the right you will see a link under "Project Repository". This is where I will drop files from now on, including an Excel file with an up-to-date history of the project.
With Pmack's permission I have uploaded our collaboration together called Two-Gun Kid 005 (Pmack-Teachbug)in the file drop for the group to grab. I hope you enjoy it. thanks pmack for letting me edit it. :)
I was wondering how the group feels about a couple of labeling issues.
I think it would be nice to indicate the scans are from the Atlas Scan Project (maybe by including "ASP" in the credits?).
Also, I've noticed that everyone that's ul a scan has used a slightly different naming convention. It's no big deal, but my suggestion would be to follow Pmack's style.
So the the Tex Taylor scan I did could have been labeled:
Tex Taylor 003 (Atlas.1949) (c2c) (ASP-Pmack-tomander).cbr
Nothing personal, but even though I am a paying member of this little "group" I dont feel its an official group, NOR do I like groups and group names, I didnt want to be in ocd, I didnt wanna be part of the comicwrack, nor dcp, or even minutemen....I am NOT a group person, I am indy, and the ONLY name or names that go on anything i deal with are gonna the scanner, and the editor, thats all. now if the rest of you wanna call yourselves the "atlas scan club" or whatever thats cool, Im still gonna support it in everyway I can, I just dont want that on anything I do. AGAIN nothing personal, but NO thank you!
I agree with Teach on the group affiliation, but on the other hand, I have been thinking about ways to "promote" the group. Obviously there are many people who are grabbing the scans who aren't in the group, but maybe they don't know about the group. I'd like to see more people join, but how will they know about us?

I really like this file drop thing, very nice, very convenient.
Great job so far pmack.
I'd like to second that. :)

Good point teachbug, and you've convinced me!
I was more thinking it was like how we credit OldWayne for having so generously provided most of the fiche for that project.
But I wasn't thinking about how group affiliations can go bad.
Consider the suggestion ripped to shreds and scattered to the winds...

mention it in mainchat as many times as we need to, during different times of the day so people who are on at different times can see it.
